With a career spanning public accounting, corporate finance, and strategic advisory, Nick brings a rare blend of technical depth and relational insight. He started his career at KPMG before spending over a decade at Jones Lang LaSalle, where he rose to SVP as the Controller of the Americas Corporate Solutions business. There, he led finance operations for global clients and spearheaded the regional implementation of ASC606.

After years of building and leading high-performing teams, Nick joined Salo to help clients navigate complex finance and accounting challenges with interim talent solutions. He helped grow the Chicago office from the ground up, ultimately achieving top market share in the region. Following Salo’s acquisition by Korn Ferry, Nick stayed on to help integrate the interim practice into the firm’s broader platform.

Nick draws on this diverse experience to build operational systems that are both rigorous and human. He’s known for his ability to translate complexity into clarity and foster trust-based relationships with clients and colleagues alike.

Nick holds a BA in Accounting and a Master of Professional Accountancy and is a registered CPA. Outside of work, he’s a proud father to three boys who keep him grounded and inspired. His passions include coaching youth sports and advocating for pediatric cancer research.
